Serving our community since 1954

Pleasant Valley Public Water District

Welcome to your source for Clean Water

Founded in 1954 and providing clean potable water since, Pleasant Valley Public Water District (PVPWD) takes pride in serving our customers. The District operates a water utility providing water to unincorporated Peoria, Norwood, and parts of Bellevue. We service over 1500 meters and provide over 11,000,000 gallons of clean water per month. PVPWD also manages and operates the potable water system for Limestone Waters Public Water District in Peoria County.

Our mission is to deliver value to our customers and the communities we serve by providing safe, reliable, economical, and environmentally sustainable water.

Our water is sourced from the Sankoty Aquifer and pumped via 3 well houses to your home or business. Over the last decade PVPWD has invested in updates to our water distribution system including a new water storage tower on Farmington Road and a new well set to come on line in late 2025. Clean water is our passion and we look forward to serving you. Pleasant Valley Public Water District is managed by a Class A water operator and governed by a local Board of Trustees.

Pleasant Valley Public Water District is a proud member of the Illinois Rural Water Association. With this partnership, we are able to provide the most up to date training for our team, assistance with the ever changing regulations, and a partner for the longevity of our organization.
